I am selling the SNXS-models from Seiko for many years now, and I have developed a lot of upgrades for them (fluted bezel, slim case back, sapphire, solid Oyster). And now Seiko finally introduces the SNXS-line as part of the Seiko Sports series. Improvements: 4R36 movement, VERY NICE applique indexes, beatiful crafted hands, 10 atm water resistance, solid bracelet with solid end pieces, English+Kanji day disc. The case back is less thick, but he watch as a whole is 1 mm thicker than the old SNXS; this flatter case back makes this new model fit better on your wrist though.

This SRPK89 has a gorgeous watch case that is brushed with a polished line at the side, and a polished bezel. The steel bracelet has solid links, the 16mm clasp has only 2 adjustment holes (alternative). The lugs are drilled-through, so changing the bracelet is easy. The dial is shiny blue and has really nice (applique applied) indexes that raise this watch to a higher level. The hands are “folded and have a white line, a detail that reminds me of watches long ago from Seiko. The crown is larger than the crown of the old SNXS, so this 4R36 can be hand wound with more ease.

The installed glass is single domed hardlex. It will give some distortion when you look at the dial from an angle. A good option is to have sapphire installed (add the sapphire to the order, and use the option “install ORDERED sapphire”)!
