In the Seiko 5 Sports range there is a new watch case shape, a nice classic case with a large crown at 3.

This SRPG41 has a military kind of dial, and looks a bit like the good old SNZG17, it is a little bit smaller, but also a bit higher (mainly because of the domed hardlex). The numbers are applied and coloured with creme paint, which is very nice. The used lume in the hands and on the index-markers lights up blue!
The dial finish is matt, the paint looks a bit splattered on the dial. The dial is a gradient from a kind of gray/brown in the middle to matt black at the edge!
The strap is a cool looking thick leather, and the black finish of the case makes the case look (gently) used. The lugs are drilled-through, so changing the strap is easy!

The installed glass is single domed hardlex. It has a rather high dome and will give some distortion when you look at the dial from an angle. A good option is to have sapphire installed (add the sapphire to the order, and use the option “install ORDERED sapphire”)!
