The Super Solid Oyster bracelet is one of the most popular bracelets. It has solid links and it is one of the most used after market bracelets for the SKX007.
The (recently improved, “3D”) end pieces are massive pieces of steel, attached with thick push pins (with collars for removal) to the watch case. Lug width is 22mm, and because of that they are sold steel, only suitable for SKX007 / 009 / 011 / 171 case (7S26-0020/7020 on the case back)
The links are also made of solid steel, attached with small screws. Use some loc tite ore something similar to keep the screws from unscrewing while you are wearing the watch. This 1.4mm screw driver is perfect to unscrew these small screws.
For the SKX case, I have a variant with 18mm clasp and one with 20mm clasp. So one trims from 22mm to 18mm and the other from 22mm to 20mm.
| Install tip: First remove the push pins and press the end piece through the lugs a few times. This removes some possible left over steel from drilling the holes in the lugs. |
You can choose between a few types of clasps:
- Neutral with 3 adjustment holes
- Neutral with 6 adjustment holes
- V-clasp with 6 adjustment holes
- Seiko clasp with 4 adjustment holes
- Seiko clasp with 4 adjustment holes and divers’ extension
- Ratcheting, easy to extend
- Solid Ratcheting (18mm)
- Solid Ratcheting (20mm)
